ABOUT UTAH SPINE SPECIALISTS
Utah Spine Specialists is Utah’s comprehensive pain relief and spine surgery specialists. We are a full spectrum pain management center servicing patients in Davis, Salt Lake, and Weber Counties.
We treat all forms of back and neck pain, utilizing advanced and evidence-based techniques; both surgical and non-surgical.
We work hard to get patients into our office quickly, reducing the common pre-visit requirements and delays found in other clinics. Our patients find our streamlined process and speed to effective treatment and care, to be a very positive experience.

Raul Weston M.D.
Interventional Pain Management Anesthesiology
Utah Spine Specialists is a full spectrum pain management center servicing Davis, Salt Lake and Weber Counties. Our staff excels professionally and personally with the highest qualifications of any pain specialists in Northern Utah.
Raul Weston M.D., attended medical school at the historic Medical College of Virginia, located in Richmond Virginia. He completed his Anesthesiology residency and Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Utah and the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr. Weston carries two Board Certifications in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management.

Konneen (Konny) Willis
Physician Assistant
Trained in the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Utah, Konny has worked in Neurology, Emergency Medicine and General Surgery.
Konny is from Show Low, Arizona and initially came to Utah to play college basketball and softball. Once here, she fell in love with all that Utah had to offer and decided to stay and make it her home. She enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains of Utah as well as, participating in triathlons. She also enjoys traveling and taking care of her home in Draper, Utah.

David W. Stevens, MD
Orthopedic Surgery / Spine Surgery
Dr. Stevens attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He performed his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He stayed at UW/Harborview for his spine fellowship. He is board certified.
Dr. Stevens has been practicing spine surgery in Northern Utah since 2006. He treats a variety of spinal conditions in the neck and back. He performs minimally invasive surgeries as well as traditional open spinal surgeries. Some common procedures include discectomy, laminectomy, decompression, cervical disc replacement, fusion or arthrodesis and deformity correction.

Kevin Refahiyat PA-C
Physician Assistant
Kevin grew up in South Ogden, Utah. He completed his Physician Assistant training at Touro University Nevada and now works closely with Dr. Stevens to help give the best care possible.
When he’s not working or playing sports like golf, soccer, and basketball you’ll often find him enjoying his spare time hanging out with friends and family.
